So you've done your research, found your best gay destination, got the best deal possible and booked it. You are now ready for your best Gay vacation ever!

To better ensure that your travel experience remains this way, here are some travel tips you might want to consider:

You should always carry a copy of your passport, your itinerary, your hotel, your tour reservations or anything else you need. when you travel. It is just as important to keep the copies in a safe place, other than your bags. In the event your bags are lost or stolen. you'll still have a copy of them. Most important you"ll have a copy of your passport. An extra precaution would be to take a photo of them with your smart phone. Plus, if you lose them, you've still got all the info. But it is recommended to to have both, in case you lose your smartphone or it is stolen. You can be as creative as you want to be with your hiding place. i.e.- Your back pocket or your socks.
When it comes to Packing: less is better. Your best bet is to travel with just hand-luggage. Take less and you’ll travel cheaper, faster and easier. Also, no chance of lost luggage.
So if you can't attain the one luggage rule (most of us can't), then you should roll your clothing. You"ll never fold again.
Take a photo of your luggage, preferably with you in the shot and at the beginning of your trip. This way if they get lost, you can show the picture and make it easier to recover your luggage.
Take an extra, minimalist outfit in your carry-on. Just in case your luggage is lost.
Always pack zip-lock bags. They are ideal for packing things tighter, separating wet from dry and managing small items like batteries. Pack a few bags in a variety of sizes.

Obviously you don't want to be walking the streets with nothing in your wallet, so always bring a little to exchange at the airport and use your plastic the rest of the way. There’s a dual purpose to this: if you get mugged you can calmly hand over the wallet and carry on your holiday with minimum hassle.
